Helicopter Engagement Session in San Diego
Easily one of my favorite couples sessions ever. Took these a while back for my sweet sweet friends Taylor and Drake in San Diego—a place I love to visit and work in every chance I get. Wes spent the day hitting a few favorite spots that held many memories, like the canyon by Taylor’s veryfirst California apartment.
As the sun started to set, we made our way to Coronado for something a little different—of course we had to include the Navy helicopters Drake flies for work! 💘 (Fun fact: It was almost COMPLETELY DARK when we shot the photos with the helicopters. Sometimes, I really love to shoot up til last light), especially when I can bring my flash out during blue hour.
This session felt so natural, so personal, and such a perfect mix of what makes this place special. I love working in San Diego—the cliffs, the coastline, the light, the warmth, the plants.
